Allegory of Sweet Desire (After Agnolo Bronzino)
Song Cycle for soprano and piano based on translations of Greek & Roman love poetry, commissioned by the Aldeburgh Connection for soprano Adrianne Pieczonka. Two decades after its premier the score for this cycle will soon be made available to the public with transcription/editing assistance from the faculty/staff at Memorial University, St. John’s.
A Tall Order (And Opéra-Bouffe in One Frantic Act)
Opera for soprano, tenor & piano (percussion & chorus optional) with music by John Greer and libretto by Sheri Wilner, originally commissioned by the Boston Opera Collaborative, was premiered in Winnipeg, MB by the Littlest Opera Company, followed by numerous performances as part of Opera Fayetteville, AB’s "Opera in Bloom".

Premiered by Isabel Bayrakdarian with the St. Lawrence String Quartet and the arranger at the piano in Santa Barbara, CA at the Lobero Theatre, along with a repeat performance of "Four Songs by L. B.".

Two new folk song arrangements for SATB quartet or SSMTB quintet and piano. "A la claire fontaine" made possible with the assistance of Nathalie Paulin and the University of Toronto.
Nonsense Songs (text by Edward Lear, for Soprano, Clarinet & Piano)
Four new songs Commissioned by Dr, Jane Leibel, soprano, Professor of Voice at Mt. Alison University, St. John’s, NF with the assistance of their Artistic Creative Research Grants Program with texts from Edward Lear’s "Nonsense" and "Nonsense Songs" to be premiered this academic year.
The Snow Queen (Children’s Opera in One Act after Hans C. Andersen)
The Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus will present a remount of "The Snow Queen" for children’s chorus and chamber orchestra, music by John Greer, libretto by Jeremy James Taylor at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre in a new production with music director Teri Dunn and stage director Robert Kempson.
A Prairie Boy’s Life (A Manitoban Entertainment)
The tour with the original U. of M. faculty interpreters continues at the Sky Centre, Swift Current, SK with additional ensemble arrangements and, due to popular demand, two new short movements: Catching Baby Killdeer (soprano & tenor duet) & Gopher Hunting (mezzo & baritone duet).
